The Exeter Popes
The Exeter Popes are an American rock trio formed in Brooklyn, New York. The band has consisted of Stephen Lipuma (vocals, guitar), Michael Figgiani (bass guitar, vocals), and Chuck Palmer (drums, percussion, vocals) for the majority of its existence.
The band members have played in numerous acts (Blackout Holiday, Snob Hill) and were original contributors to the Brooklyn rock scene that occurred over the past decade. Their early and critically acclaimed EP releases earned them a grassroots fan base and eventually MTV took notice. Following this success, The Exeter Popes regrouped and chose to hone their craft and began work on what would become Deep Sea Treachery.
The Exeter Popes released their long awaited, full-length record Deep Sea Treachery on March 16, 2010.
